Keeping our forests and paths safe and walkable means that it is sometimes necessary to close them for maintenance or to carry out forestry or road works.
To avoid hitches and enjoy your day safely, always plan your excursion before leaving and try to find how walkable the path you plan to take is.
You can choose your itinerary by looking at this section of our website or by downloading our Apps specially created for Outdoor activities. Before you set out on your walk, check in one last time with the people who can give you updated and factual information.
If your excursion takes you to a lodge or a mountain cabin, you can always call the manager to ask for information on the route. Or you can decide to rely on the mountain guides in the area and, maybe, forget all your worries and let someone else lead the way.
In addition, you can always contact the tourist information offices located in the area, by going in person or by contacting them by phone.
