Walk - the Cannoniere
Strategic panoramic viewpoint, used by Italian soldiers during the First World War, now a must-see stop for tourists and residents seeking tranquility and views.

From the parking lot, continue towards the town center for about 200m, reaching the forecourt of the main church of Santa Maria Assunta, passing under the retirement home, from where you enter a flat street, then passing near an ancient washhouse.

Continuing, you arrive at the sign indicating "Le Cannoniere"; the uphill path becomes quite challenging, through a beautiful forest shaded by beeches and hornbeams.

At a farmhouse (sign), turn left on the flat, then uphill again until a dirt road and again to the left; the path becomes easier up to the Cannoniere of the First World War. Entering and crossing the tunnels, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Pradellano plain.

Besides the indicated parking lot, you can also start from the multifunctional center in the lower part of the village, crossing the provincial road and climbing towards the "Degasperi" and "Per via" museums up to the main church of Maria Assunta, shortly before the hill of St. Sebastian.

There is also the possibility to descend by another path; going back 20 meters from the Cannoniere, take a path on the right that descends for about 1 km to Passo Forcella.

From the Pass, turn left to return to the village along the old dirt road or through the beautiful path in the Santa Maria forest.
