Classic regularity event for historic cars and supercars with 70 crews from all over Europe and beyond, on a 400 km route divided into two stages along the roads of the Dolomites
Seventy Italian and foreign crews (Belgium, Holland, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Mexico and Monte Carlo) will participate on 8 and 9 March in the eleventh edition of the WinteRace, an A.S.I. (Automotoclub Storico Italiano) event entered in the calendar under the name of the Circolo Veneto Auto Moto d'Epoca Giannino Marzotto. Participants will drive their vintage cars along the roads of the Dolomites for just over 400 kilometres, divided into two stages. In addition, detection tests are planned that will enliven the spirit of the competition and enhance the driving skills of the driver and navigation skills of the co-driver.
On Friday 8 March, after the start in Cortina d'Ampezzo at 9 a.m., participants will cross the Falzarego, Gardena, Pinei, Nigra, Costalunga, San Pellegrino and Giau passes before returning to the starting point in the late afternoon. The marathon will stop at around 12.30 p.m. in the squares of Moena for the traditional presentation of the 50 historic cars built before 1999 and the 20 ICONs (a category reserved for iconic cars from around the world) to the public. The stop for lunch is scheduled at 1 p.m. at the 5-star hotel Ciampedie Luxury Alpine Spa in Vigo.
