Vigo: a singing village!
For the traditional summer music festival, the "La Valle" Choir from the Cembra Valley performs a rich repertoire of popular mountain songs inspired by the grandiose Alpine landscapes, glaciers, forests and legends of the Dolomites
Every Thursday evening in Vigo, we will be able to listen to pieces skilfully performed by local choral groups, who will entertain us in an exciting concert, sure to be appreciated by valley dwellers and tourists alike. On 25 July, at 9.15 p.m., the "La Valle" Choir will take the stage in the events pavilion, opposite the Hotel Vael.
The "La Valle" Choir celebrates folk singing and local culture, with a repertoire of around 100 pieces, including ancient Trentino songs dating back to the 16th-19th centuries. In sixteen years, it has captivated audiences with about 500 concerts in the region and abroad, also participating in cultural projects of great historical value. Its members, dressed in traditional costumes from the Trentino Cembra Valley, offer a unique show that combines music and folk dances. Passionately directed by Roberto Bazzanella, the choir consists of thirty talented singers from Cembra, Piné and Fiemme. In some performances it is accompanied by elements of the Orchestrina Avisiana of the "Minicoro La Valle" with accordions, trumpet and violin.
