Palio Raglio - Donkey Baptism
Friday, August 2, the 3-day Palio Raglio, the donkey competition among the 6 districts of Cembra, kicks off with the usual Donkey Baptism.
Cembra transforms into a small Siena, but much more fun and playful.
On Friday, August 2, 2024, the 3-day 'Palio Raglio' begins, an event that has ignited the districts of Cembra for decades, engaged in the charming challenge with donkeys through the streets of the historic center.
At 8:00 PM, the Donkey Baptism takes place, where the six donkeys are paired with their respective district jockeys. Following this, a tribute to Green Day, 'One Day Revolution' by Vortika at the Barbi Stage. At the Martini Stage, Kepha DJ and Franz Voice will present a spectacular DJ Set.
During the event, there will be food and wine stands and... fun guaranteed!
