New Year's Concert
The New Year starts in music with a mid-morning concert by the "Colli Morenici" Symphony Orchestra at the cinema in Canazei
The programme proposed by the "Colli Morenici" Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Nicola Ferraresi, is a tribute to the works of the Strauss family with some "out-of-programmes" from 'The Nutcracker' by Tchaikovsky, Rossini and Nino Rota (from "The Leopard"). To celebrate the New Year, some of the most famous compositions that characterise the Viennese New Year will be performed on the Canazei stage: from "Tritsch-tratsch polka" to "Kaiser-walzer", from "Thunder and Lightning" to "Voices of Spring", not forgetting marches, marzurkas and other nice moments typical of the joyful climate of this period.
Monday 1 January at 11 a.m. at the "Marmolada" cinema theatre. Free admission.
