Inauguration of the exhibition "There's no calm after the storm" by Matteo de Mayda.
The Radici Museum was created to tell the identity of a territory through the metaphor of a tree: deep roots, branches that stretch out, sap that connects the past, present, and future. In this spirit, the museum hosts two installations that tackle the theme of the relationship between man, nature, and collective memory from complementary perspectives, starting from an event that deeply marked the mountains of northeastern Italy: the Vaia Storm.
Two languages — sculpture and photography, artistic gesture and visual research — intertwine in the Radici Museum to give voice to a shared memory, but also to suggest new possibilities for listening and coexistence with the territory.
Once again, roots become a symbol of what keeps us grounded, even when the wind changes everything.
