Gruppo di lettura
Are you ready to dive into new stories and share your literary passions? This will be an opportunity to get to know each other, choose together the first book to read, and start this fantastic journey through the pages. Participation is free and open to everyone. To break the ice, you can bring a book or a poem that you love, but it is not mandatory. We will decide together with the participants the methods, dates, and times of the subsequent meetings.
What is a reading group? A Reading Group (GdL) is a group of people who usually read a book chosen in common, privately, and share impressions and emotions evoked by the book while deepening themes and topics together.
The reading group values reading and discussion as a means of opening up to others and fostering dialogue between different perspectives and writings of the world.
Why participate in a reading group? To discover authors and genres you would never have explored; to confront and discover new viewpoints; to socialize and forge new friendships with those who share your same passion.
Participation is open to everyone who wants to share a reading: avid readers, casual readers, new readers, curious readers, experimental readers, nostalgic readers, compulsive readers, thematic readers, impatient readers, eager readers, disenchanted readers, disappointed readers…
We look forward to seeing you at the library to share together the magic of reading.
