Concerto della Bandakadabra
Concert of the street band Bandakadabra
Carlo Petrini, a journalist and founder of Slow Food, referred to it as an “urban fanfare.” A fitting definition for a group that makes the city its ideal backdrop and the street not only the stage on which to perform but also the place from which to draw inspiration.
Born in Turin, the Bandakadabra boasts a frantic live activity that has led it to perform across Europe and gain increasing attention from enthusiasts.
From the Paleo Festival to Suoni delle Dolomiti, not to mention Jazz sous les pommiers, the Tenco Award, the Festival della Mente and Musicultura, in just a few years the Band has amassed over four hundred performances, including theatrical and musical reviews, street festivals, and private events, establishing itself as a unique reality in its genre.
Noteworthy is also the caliber of the artists with whom the group has shared the stage: Vinicio Capossela, Arturo Brachetti, Malika Ayane, Willie Peyote, and Samuel (singer-songwriter and voice of Subsonica).
Admission to the concert is free and open to all, in case of bad weather the concert will take place at the Cinema Teatro di Predazzo.
