Circus in Val Duron with Enrico Mazza
As part of the Circen Dolomites Festival, a performance by the actor, clown, mime, performer in which he is the protagonist of an unusual sequence of hilarious sketches
A large black cube from which emerges a bizarre suitcase and from the suitcase an eccentric character. "From a Suitcase" is the one mime show by Enrico Mazza, an extraordinary solo performer from Lake Garda. A mime as elegant as he is wacky, he will accompany us into an upturned world where even the most common objects, such as a roll of scotch tape or a letter envelope, change their nature and become play. Traditional gags and illusions will act as a springboard to original breaks and surprises, mixing physical theatre, juggling, object manipulation, improvisation and magic.
At 2 p.m. at the Micheluzzi Refuge in Val Duron (1860 m), which can be reached on foot or by shuttle bus from Campitello. Free show, for adults and children of all ages. Duration approx. 40 minutes. In case of bad weather, at the "Ischia" events pavilion, near the "Col Rodella" cable car valley station, at 5 p.m.
"From a Suitcase" is one of the shows of the "Circen Dolomites Festival". For a whole week, and to be more precise from 26 July to 2 August, Val di Fassa hosts prominent street artists and good international jugglers. Squares, museums, but also high-altitude locations, turn into exceptional stages for astonishing performances, both in ability and creativity. The festival is organised by Fassa’s group of jugglers "Circensema", founded in 2017 in partnership with the local association "Inout", which for some years has been practising the circus art and also training, together with professionals, some teenagers that perform in a few shows throughout the year, juxtaposing juggling and theatre.
