Carnival on the ski slopes
Snow, music and taste: for the last day of Carnival, the party comes to the Chalet Cima Uomo at San Pellegrino Pass
In Val di Fassa, Carnival is one of the most fascinating and representative moments of Ladin traditions, but also a great popular festival that animates the villages as well as the mountain huts. In fact, even the San Pellegrino Pass is infected by the colours and merriment of the masks. The rendezvous is on the sunny terrace of the Chalet Cima Uomo, easily reached either on skis or on foot. The fun starts as early as 1 p.m. with a live broadcast on Radio PiterPan, while at 3 p.m. the après-ski explodes with music by Amanzio Lurve and Efrem Crimaldi. Of course, children can also participate: the face paiting corner is dedicated to them. For everyone, delicious apple fritters with cinnamon and icing sugar.
