Baltic Cup Youth and Masters
From 11 to 16 March, the under-12, under-14, under-16 and Masters National Youth Championships of Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Estonia are staged at the "Aloch" Ski Stadium
The Ski Stadium "Aloch" in Pozza, training venue for the Italian national team and foreign teams, is hosting the Baltic Cup Youth and Masters. From 11 to 16 March, the very young recruits from the Baltic Republics will compete on the same slope where the Latvian national titles of the highest categories were awarded in January. While, on 19 and 21 March, the FIS competitions will decree the Estonian champions. The programme of the Baltic Cup Youth and Masters, which is aimed at children under 12, under 14, under 16 and Masters, includes five intense days from Monday to Friday: 11 March training; 12 March giant slalom; 13 March giant slalom; 14 March special slalom; 15 March parallel special slalom; 16 March competition for eight- and nine-year-olds to introduce them to the world of racing.
The future champions of the technical disciplines will also have to show off their skills and technical preparation on the demanding black slope of Pozza, which, in terms of height difference (220 metres) and slope gradient (average 27%, maximum 49%), is once again the ideal theatre for competitions of international level.
