Alba Armengou Trio
For the Val di Fassa Panorama Music festival, the young singer and trumpet player from Barcelona performs at an altitude of 2,000 metres, capable of taking the audience on an exciting musical journey that draws inspiration from boleros, Catalan cançó, bossa nova, Latin and jazz
Alba Armengou, singer and trumpet player, was born on 7 July 2001 in Barcelona. She approached music from childhood and after two years decided to start playing the trumpet. At the age of eight, she began studying classical music at the Oriol Martorell school and also jazz, joining the Sant Andreu Jazz Band until 2022. As soon as he was 16, he released his first solo album with Joan Chamorro, entitled "Joan Chamorro presents Alba Armengou". In 2023, at the age of 21, she released her first unreleased album "Susurros del Viento". The young singer and trumpet player ranges from swing and bebop to Latin jazz with influences from Spanish and Catalan music. She sings in Catalan, Spanish, Portuguese and English. American vocal jazz with the great performers of the 20th century, in particular Sarah Vaughan and Ella Fitzgerald, is an important and endless source of inspiration for her.

Meeting point: at 11:30 a.m. at the "Ciampedie", which can be reached by cable car from Vigo or Pera.
The concert is free of charge. The cost of the ticket for the "Ciampedie" cable car is the responsibility of the participants (Panorama Pass and Dolomiti Supersummer cards are valid). In case of bad weather, the concert will take place at 2.30 p.m. at the events pavilion in Vigo.
Val di Fassa Panorama Music is organised by the cultural association "La Grenz", under the artistic direction of Enrico Tommasini, in collaboration with the valley's cableway companies and with the support of the Val di Fassa Tourist Board.
