AbbaShow
A plunge into the 1970s with AbbaShow and the tribute to the historic Swedish band
The look, atmosphere, chorography and timeless hits of Abba are revived for one evening in the parterre of the Ski Stadium "Aloch", opposite the church of Saint Nicolò. With more than 400 million records sold worldwide, Abba (an acronym formed from the initials of the four members' names Agnetha, Benny, Björn and Anni-Frid) are considered to be among the most famous exponents of international pop music and have made entire generations dance long after their greatest hits. In 1974, the band, which had only been formed four years earlier, climbed to the top of the world charts after winning the Eurovision Song Contest in Brighton with the song "Waterloo".
"The First Italian Show" is the name of the Tribute Band dedicated to Abba, founded by Alberto Bertapelle with Deborah Conforti. It has performed in major venues both in Italy and abroad, also participating in several TV shows and major international events such as the Venice Carnival or the "Night of the Stars" at the 2011 Berlin International Film Festival.
At 9.15 p.m. in the square of Pozza (tourist office). In case of bad weather, the concert will be held in the events pavilion. Admission free.
