The descent from the western slope, along the road leading back to the Ossuary, completes this evocative route.</p> <p>Characterised by a level of difficulty accessible to all, this itinerary is particularly suitable for families eager to spend a day in the open air, offering young people the chance to approach a fragment of history whose memory should be an integral part of the cultural heritage of every Italian, but which risks disappearing into oblivion.</p> <p>The memory of the tragic events of the Great War, which found expression in the Ossuary of Castel Dante, is now transformed into an evocative path of peace called ‘Walking in Peace’.
