La Rocchetta is a small promontory just over 700 m high located south of Borgo Valsugana in Trentino. It has always played a natural blocking role situated halfway through the Valsugana together with Monte Ciolino and for this reason, even during the wartime period, it was used not as a battlefield but as a natural observation point by both sides, Italian and Austrian.
