Walk - Miner's Trail
Discovering the Calceranica and Bosentino mine, active from the 1800s to the second half of the 20th century in the extraction of pyrite used in the manufacture of sulfuric acid.
The Miner's Trail consists of a section of the route that miners traveled twice a day. A still wild territory of particular scenic and naturalistic interest. Along the path you can see traces of the Decauville railway once used to transport extracted material, entrances of ancient tunnels, the "den of Russian prisoners", remains of the sulfur quarry.
