Walk at the Palude di Roncegno Biotope

Untouched and wild nature just steps from Roncegno Terme, also accessible to people with mobility impairments, the blind, and visually impaired thanks to the barrier-free path

<p>The "Palude di Roncegno" Biotope is located between the towns of Borgo Valsugana and Roncegno Terme, in the eastern part of the Rio Chiavona. It is easily accessible from the Valsugana cycle path.</p> <p>The main features of this reserve are the constant presence of water and the existence of one of the last and most important valley bottom riparian forests in the Autonomous Province of Trento.</p> <p>It is possible to visit the “Palude di Roncegno” Biotope by walking along the fully signposted visit trail, which extends for just over 500 meters.</p> <p>The path has the important peculiarity of being accessible also to people with mobility impairments, the blind, and the visually impaired. </p> <p>The track was indeed created with operational measures (width, road surface, absence of steps) to allow access for disabled wheelchairs. </p>
