Vallesinella - The Way of the Valleys

Simple walk, despite its length, among dense beech and fir forests, scenic waterfalls, clear and sparkling waters, and suspended footbridges in a fairy-tale environment.

Vallesinella is famous for its scenic waterfalls and its clear and sparkling waters.
The itinerary follows the “Bear Path” through dense beech and fir forests, crossing suspended footbridges and easy ladders.

It is a simple path, with negligible elevation change but quite long, leading from Madonna di Campiglio South to Malga Vallesinella (1681 m), now abandoned. The route continues past the Upper Waterfalls, Rifugio Vallesinella, and Rifugio Cascate di Mezzo (1398 m), then returns along a circular route.

The total walking time can easily be broken into shorter sections, interspersed with pleasant refreshment breaks in one of the numerous refuges along the valley.

During the summer period, the valley is also covered by a shuttle bus service, which allows easy access to Rifugio Vallesinella to start exploring the waterfalls. A very pleasant excursion suitable for families with children.
