Val Rocchette - La Via delle Valli

<p>Charming, wild, sparsely marked, and decidedly steep. This is Val Rocchette, a jewel of unexplored nature, a trek for experienced hikers with good orientation skills.</p>

<p>A side valley of Val Genova, Val Rocchette stands out for its particularly challenging and wild nature. The ascent is extremely steep and the use of gpx tracks and accompaniment by a mountain guide is advised.</p> <p>Unspoiled valley, all to explore, it has sections where it is possible to lose the track due to tall grass or lack of signs. As with almost all the side valleys of Val Genova, the ascent is steep, so trekking poles are recommended.</p> <p>It is highly recommended to follow a gpx track to avoid getting lost in less visible sections. To reach the Observatory, you must face a couple of brief vertical passages on rock and grass which can be challenging when the ground is wet. There are no refreshment points and reception is absent. The valley should not be underestimated and requires good physical and climbing preparation.</p> <p>It is particularly suitable for those who love exploration and are not afraid of fatigue or isolation.</p>
