The cycling path follows the course of the Sarca river, starting just above the lake of Ponte Pià, near the town of Ragoli, to Pinzolo: a true immersion in nature.

Every view tells a story of the mountains and of great feats. The smells are those of wood, of the forests, and of the water. The track is a ribbon drawn and blended in with a picturesque Alpine scenario, in the Adamello – Brenta Nature Park, which mostly follows the same path as the Sarca river.

Turn-by-turn directions

The route begins near Ragoli, and, after about 4 km, reaches  the neighbourhood of Tione.

The ample parking area at the “Sesena” sports facilities is the ideal starting point for the Giudicarie trails. In fact, it is located at the crossroads between the three main valleys (Giudicarie Interiori, Giudicarie Esteriori, Val Rendena).

There are no challenging climbs, it follows gently rolling and peaceful terrain, making it ideal for families with children and for those who enjoy pedalling through natural surroundings without particular effort. The path unfolds among the meadows of the towns of Iavrè, Darè, Vigo and Pelugo.

By bicycle, you climb the path of the Sarca river, until, after about 21 kilometres along cycling/hiking trails, you come close to Pinzolo, where the route ends. There are long sections where the track follows the Sarca river, passing through many parks with picnic areas, including the one in Vigo Rendena, where a “Bicigrill” has been set up.
