Val del Leno - La Via delle Valli
Mountain tour
Val del Leno - La Via delle Valli

The hike begins gently through green meadows and ancient forests but later becomes a more challenging climb along a steep section through a rocky landscape.

Hike to discover a beautiful but little frequented valley connecting the Val di Daone with the Passo del Termine. There is much to see!

The route starts with the hydroelectric plant structures and the adjacent artificial lake of Malga Boazzo, fed by abundant waters descending from Val di Daone and the side valleys. Soon after appears the spectacular Regina del Lago waterfall, fed by the Rio Rondone, the stream crossing Val del Leno.

A walk rich in variety, proceeding along a fine paved mule track, crossing dense fir forests and larch groves, and encountering two alpine huts. After passing the highest one, you continue through sparse upland pastures, rocky terrain, and cliffs to reach Passo del Termine, the wide pass overlooking the broad valley descending to the Gaver basin. To the east stands Cima Blumone, and to the west Monte Listino majestically dominates the landscape, while nearby the route 1 of the Alta Via dell'Adamello passes.
