A "must" for those visiting Valsugana. The Pizzo di Levico is a mountain 1,908 m above sea level: easy to reach, it offers a beautiful panoramic view of the Upper Valsugana.
<p>From the Vezzena Plateau it is possible to reach the Fort of Pizzo di Levico, used during the Great War as a position for bombings and military traffic control over Valsugana.</p> <p>Here the Austro-Hungarian Military Engineering created one of the most extraordinary works of military engineering: the top of this mountain, in fact, was hollowed out to create a practically impregnable fortress.</p>
