The Taio di Nomi
<strong>Birdwatching among the reeds in the hidden river</strong>
<p>The <strong>Taio di Nomi</strong> allows you to discover part of the old bed of the <strong>Adige River</strong> with the surrounding territory, dominated by three ancient castles, testimonies of medieval and Renaissance eras.</p> <p>It is <strong>one of the smallest reserves in Trentino</strong>, but its historical-naturalistic and ecological importance is great.</p> <p>With patience, luck, and great observational spirit, you can discover many <strong>birds</strong> among the reeds, especially <strong>water birds</strong>. This reserve is also an important stopover area for <strong>migratory birds</strong>, which come here to rest and feed.</p> <p>The <strong>visitor park</strong> and the <strong>wooden tower</strong> allow visitors to rise 5-6 meters above the ground to more easily observe the local birdlife.</p> <p>Horseshoe-shaped path around the <strong>biotope</strong>, starting from the <a href="http://www.visitrovereto.it/vivi/sport/bici/bicigrill-ristoranti-e-cantine/">bicigrill</a> of Nomi.</p> <p>The walk crosses the apple orchards and vineyards in the countryside of <a href="http://www.visitrovereto.it/scopri/territorio/vallagarina-tra-vini-e-castelli/nomi-in-bici-sulla-destra-adige/">Nomi</a>, <a href="http://www.visitrovereto.it/scopri/territorio/vallagarina-tra-vini-e-castelli/calliano-un-borgo-tra-i-castelli/">Calliano</a>, and <a href="http://www.visitrovereto.it/scopri/territorio/vallagarina-tra-vini-e-castelli/volano-vigneti-e-devozioni-popolari/">Volano</a>.</p>
