The Lez of San Romedio, the famous path in the rock
This walk is the most famous and sought-after in the Val di Non! It starts from the village of Sanzeno and in less than an hour leads to the famous Sanctuary of San Romedio. Its peculiarity is that it is carved into the rock and flat: it actually follows an ancient irrigation canal. <p><b>Update 25.11.2025: the trail is CLOSED AND NOT ACCESSIBLE UNTIL NEXT SPRING! </b></p> <p>Mountain trail deliberately equipped with protective railings.<br />The use of a climbing helmet and proper footwear is mandatory.</p>
It is one of the best-known routes in Trentino for two simple reasons: it is easy, very detailed and leads to a magnificent place, the Sanctuary of San Romedio!
