The Baldo ridges between Altissimo and Telegrafo

<p>Small section of the "Alta Via del Monte Baldo," a challenging route dedicated to more experienced hikers that leads along the rocky ridges of the northern Monte Baldo massif.</p>

<p>Suspended halfway between the views of Vallagarina and Lake Garda, crossing from the Brentonico Plateau to Baldo Veneto, a truly scenic hike that, however, requires great care in several rocky and partially uneven sections.</p> <p>The hike starts from the Damiano Chiesa Refuge on Monte Altissimo at an altitude of 2070 meters above sea level, reaching after continuous ups and downs the summit of Monte Maggiore (near the Telegrafo Refuge) at 2200 meters above sea level. Except for some stretches where the route coincides with some undergrowth trails, the walk stays on the summits of the mountains encountered along the way: Monte Altissimo, Monte Lastè, Navene Ridges, Dosso Moreont, Monte Grande (arrival of the Malcesine Monte Baldo cable car), Cima delle Pozzette, Cima Valfinestra, Cima Valdritta, Punta Pettorina, and Monte Maggiore.</p>
