"Terre Verdi"
A walk through the beech forest in search of the mineral that made Brentonico famous.
A circular route through the Monte Baldo Park. Descend from Passo San Valentino towards the pastures of Malga Pianetti. Then continue through the beech forest to discover the history of the mineral that made Brentonico famous. The green earths were in fact extracted from the local quarries, then worked and sold throughout Europe, and were also used to paint the facades of the noble palaces in Verona. Then climb back up the valley to reach Rifugio Fos-ce where you can rest or simply take a break. Return to Passo San Valentino along an easy road. A possible detour on the way back: from Rifugio Fos-ce to Bès and back via the "Vipera equipped trail".
