<p>This tour is for those who have experiencce of sup and gives you the chance to discoveer the wilder and more spectacular shores of Lake Garda directly beneath Mount Rocchetta.</p>
<p>The Rocchetta group forms a striking backdrop on the right-hand shore of Lake Garda. Steep rock walls soar from water level to over 1000 metres, giving Garda Trentino the air of a Nordic fjord. This tour allows you to explore the base of the rock wall as far as <strong>Punta Sperone</strong>, a rocky bluff sticking out into the lake which hides one of the oldest forts in the old Austro-Hungarian defence system. Garda Trentino was the southernmost border of the empire and guarded as an important strategic position. Just above the lake, you can make out the <a href="https://maps.gardatrentino.it/en/tour/mountain-tour/ponale-trail-the-top-trek-in-garda-trentino/1481019/">Ponale Trail </a>which winds up the rock face, dotted here and there with biking and hiking enthusiasts.</p> <p><strong>Watch outl!</strong> In high winds you are advised to sttay at a safe distance from the cliff because of the danger of falling rocks.</p> <p>In any case <strong>it is advisable to take this tour accompanied by a qualified instructor</strong>.</p>

- Inform yourself about wind, water, and weather conditions. In a short time, the wind can change, the swell can increase, and it can start to rain, even with thunderstorms. For this reason, it is important be able to swim even in rough water.

- In case of solo trips, inform someone about your planned itinerary and departure time.
- Only use boats and gear appropriate to your abilities and wear a CE certified lifejacket.
- Maintain the safety distance from public transportation crafts, respect right of way rules and do not cross the course of motorboats to avoid accidents and fines.
- When stand up paddling, always attach your leash, never leave your board, and keep a distance of 500 m from the shore and cliffs from which rocks could break off.
