Stage 4a Dolomiti Trek King - At the foot of Sassolungo

<p>This is the king of trekking in the Val di Fassa, among the most exciting mountains in the world. The fourth stage, with a small route deviation, will lead you from the Sandro Pertini Hut to the Antemoia Lake.</p>

<p>From the Sandro Pertini Hut, with minimal altitude changes, you walk at the foot of Punta Grohmann, Punta Innerkofler, the Sassolungo’s Tooth, and Sasso Piatto, then exit onto the grassy saddle of the Giogo di Fassa, where the Sasso Piatto Hut is located. Continue on the flat Siusi ridge (no. 594-4) then descend on the Val Duron side to the namesake pass. Some hollows along the way allow you to enjoy superb views also toward the Alpe di Siusi and the Odle. From Passo Duron, descend into the valley of the same name via trail no. 532. Take the no. 555 to the right leading to Passo Ciaréjoles. After crossing the pass, the trail joins sign no. 580 which you take right to climb with a steep serpentine to Passo di Dona. Skirting the southern side of Cima di Dona, you reach the Antermoia Hut.</p>
