Stage 3 Dolomiti Trek King - Viel dal Pan

<p>This is the king of trekking in Val di Fassa, among the most exciting mountains in the world. The third stage will take you from Passo Fedaia to Col Rodella.</p>

<p>In front of the Rifugio Marmolada Castiglioni, take path no. 601, which winds along a long spectacular traverse, maintaining around 2400 meters of altitude. This panoramic stretch, known as Viel del Pan, was once the preferred route of itinerant traders connecting Val di Fassa to the Livinallongo basin. Once you reach Passo Pordoi, treat yourself to a detour: take the cable car up to Sass Pordoi, the famous Dolomites Terrace, to admire an extraordinary 360° view. Back at the pass with the cable car, start the descent towards Rifugio Ciampolin. Near the starting station of the Kristiania chairlift, follow the forest road that crosses the state road twice, arriving at Pian de Frataces, near the Hotel Lupo Bianco. From here, take the Pradel-Salei chairlift, which takes you towards Passo Sella and Rifugio Salei, at the foot of Sassolungo. </p>
