Stage 2 Dolomiti Trek King Short Experience - In the realm of Conturina
<p>Short version of the Dolomiti Trek King, staying in refuges and walking for 4 days on high-altitude trails that enter the heart of the Dolomites. The second stage will lead you from Passo Fedaia to Rifugio Contrin.</p>
<p>From Passo Fedaia, near the Rifugio Marmolada "E. Castiglioni", take trail no. 605 which, after the first hairpin bend, turns sharply west. Follow the comfortable mule track leading to Hotel Villetta Maria, at Pian Trevisan. From here, still following no. 605, head towards the small village of Penìa di Canazei. Continue on the dirt road which intersects the Fedaia highway in several places. Finally, enter the forest for a long stretch until you reach trail no. 602/A which merges onto the dirt road (trail no. 602) that from Alba di Canazei climbs the entire Val Contrin up to the homonymous refuge, where overnight stay is planned.</p>
