<p>Loop route with breathtaking views of the Adige Valley.</p>
<p>The route connects some of the most characteristic points of the Lessini Alensi, such as the spectacular Italian tunnels of the Great War, recently restored and made visitable, and the panoramic point over the Adige Valley of Passo della Morte (see photo).</p> <p>The Vallagarina was once a borderland, numerous battles were fought here during the Great War and many testimonies remain in the territory that still today remind us of these events. In Rovereto, near the castle, is the Italian Historical War Museum, founded in 1921, where you can discover objects and photographs, weapons, uniforms, trench warfare materials, documents and posters in one of the main Italian institutions dedicated to the First World War. Also in Lessinia we find some signs of the passage of history: at the Busoni site, a network of military tunnels leads to observation posts from where the valley could be controlled.</p>
