At altitude, where silence and peaks reign, art surprises with lightness. Along the ridge path connecting Sela Brunéché to Col de Valvacin, try the thirteen wooden seats signed by Marco Nones. Worth seeing… and trying!

At Sela Brunéché, at 2428 meters altitude, everything opens up: the gaze, the breath, the silence. No artifice, only pastures, sky and the clear lines of the most beautiful Dolomites. It is here, in this setting of absolute quiet, that the artist Marco Nones placed nine seats carved from wood recovered from old mountain huts. Thrones, benches, chaise longues: objects suspended between play and contemplation, born to be tried, lived, let speak. Each shape surprises, amuses or invites reflection: thus art becomes part of the landscape, without altering it. Then you walk along the ridge path that leads to Col de Valvacin, to be surprised by four other installations, until you reach the El Zedron restaurant and conquer the coveted climbing throne.

This route, reachable by chairlift from Ciampac, blends environmental art with the most essential and solitary mountain, offering a simple and profound experience suitable for everyone. An opportunity to sit, stay, listen. And feel that up there something changes - inside, even before outside.
