Sasso Padella loop
Sasso Padella is certainly not the most popular or sought-after peak of Primiero, however you will be surprised when, looking out, you discover that from there you can admire the entire Primiero Valley.

The proposed hike is a loop that starts and ends in the town of Transacqua and circles around Sasso Padella, the western part of the Pale Alte del Palughet, which ends steeply above the Primiero basin.

The summit (actually three peaks with a few meters difference, known as Cimon di Fradusta) is well recognizable by the cross placed on the top by the Alpine Group and is a landmark for the Primiero locals also thanks to its illumination which makes it visible even at night.

This loop also has the merit of passing through the main alpine valleys, especially those in the localities Le Vale, Caltena, Valtegnerich, Cenguei and Stiozze which, if visited in the summer seasons, offer an enviable view of the Pale di San Martino and the presence of grazing animals.
