Route 1411 - Macaion Climax: highlight of biker’s delight at the summit of Gantkofel
More panorama is not possible: The view from Gantkofel over Etschtal, South Tyrolean Wine Road and Dolomites is spectacular. And so are the singletrails on the ridge.
The physical and technical demands of this route in the northeast of the Non Valley are high, but the panorama from Monte Macaion (Gantkofel) compensates for every drop of sweat. While strength, endurance and perseverance are still required for the almost 13 km long climb from Fondo, the Mendelkamm shows its best side for friends of technically challenging singletrails. Trail difficulty up to S2 requires confident riding skills, short sections can be S3.
