Refuge "City of Trento" at Mandrone
<p>Beautiful route that leads from the undergrowth of the <strong>Val Genova</strong> up to the altitude with an incredible view of the amphitheater of the <strong>Lobbie</strong> and the <strong>Matarot</strong>.</p>
<p>From the Malga Bedole parking lot, taking the dirt road, you reach the <strong>Rifugio Adamello Collini Al Bedole</strong> and then the <strong>Rifugio Mandron “City of Trento”</strong>, located in front of the largest glacier in the Italian Alps, the <strong>Adamello</strong>.</p> <p>The first part of the route is steep and quickly overcomes 600 meters of elevation difference between the start and arrival; after exiting the woods, the path becomes flatter before finishing with a last uphill stretch. Near the refuge, there is a small <strong>Austro-Hungarian cemetery</strong> and many signs of the <strong>First World War</strong> (trenches, walkways, etc.).</p>
