Pozza (Vidor) - Val Monzoni - Rifugio Vallaccia - Sas da les Undesc

<p>The excursion allows you to discover a less known but equally charming corner of the valley. You reach Rifugio Valacia and Sas da le Undesc, from where you enjoy a magnificent panorama.</p>

<p>Once you reach Malga Monzoni, continue on trail no. 603. At Pian de Munciogn, turn right onto trail no. 624. Follow the steep path which climbs sharply through the forest. Soon, you come out onto the gentle, rolling pastures of Gardeccia, leaving the shoulder of Sass Morin on your right. At the junction with trail 603/B to Rifugio T. Taramelli, continue on the dirt road ascending the valley decisively. Pines and fir trees give way to wide meadows. To save energy you can follow the grassy path cutting through the pastures, then reconnect to the dirt road that with wide switchbacks leads to Rifugio Vallaccia. From here, continue towards the high basin of Lastei blocked by Vallaccia. Follow on the right the easy trail trace up to the overhanging peak of Sas da le Undesc, an extension of the rocky bastion of Zoccol, from where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the entire Val di Fassa.</p>
