Pozza (Buffaure) - Col de Valvacin - Buffaure Ridges - Sela Brunéch - Sela de Ciamol - Col Bel - Malga Jumela - Pozza (Favè)

Circular route along the ridges overlooking the wild Val Jumela. Starting from Col de Valvacin, you first reach Sela Brunéch and then Malga Jumela, passing through the panoramic points of Sas de Adam, Sela de Ciamol, and Col Bel.

Once you reach Buffaure by cable car, descend the slope to the saddle then turn left onto the wide ski slope (here below, on the right, you can also take the chairlift that goes up to Col de Valvacin) and reach the Buffaure di Sopra locality, near the Baita Cuz Hut. Climb again and, with a comfortable zigzag, reach the ridge. Head towards the upper station of the chairlift following trail no. 613, then go up the steep ramp that leads to Sas de Adam (magnificent circular panorama on all the Dolomites of Fassa) after which you start descending. When the ridge rises again, cross the northern slopes until you reach Sela Brunéch (2 hours). Now follow the obvious track on the left (it is not a CAI path) which, always along a grassy ridge and closing off the Val Jumela to the north, leads to the Aut. By continuous ups and downs, arrive at the wide pastures of Sela de Ciamol, where some livestock fences are located. At the Malga Jumela sign (recommended detour to avoid some passages for expert hikers), proceed straight to follow, shortly after on the right, a track in the grass which, with a slight ascent, leads to the Col Bel plateau. One of the best panoramas on the Fassa peaks awaits you, so close you can almost touch them. The descent to the valley must be approached carefully due to exposed sections, rocks, stones, and dwarf pines. You finally see the first wooden huts. Some hairpin bends allow a quick descent to Ciamp de Pozza. Follow the mule track downhill which merges with the Val Jumela road and from here, in a short time, you reach the hut. Trails no. 644 and 644/B allow you to return to Pozza, in the Favé district.
