Path of the Knights of Malta Hospital

During the Great War (1914-1918) several military hospitals were active on Alpe Cimbra, some managed by the medical and nursing staff of the Sovereign Military Order of the Knights of Malta, the knights of the "eight-pointed star." The largest and most structured was the Malga Belem Hospital, located in Slaghenaufi, on the Lavarone plateau.

The route is short and is a nice walk, also suitable for families with children over 6 years of age. The most interesting aspects are the beauty of the place, the coolness of the forest surrounding the path, and the historical and cultural aspect, highlighted by a series of photographic panels arranged along the route and a wooden structure that displays a series of illustrative panels telling the story of the hospital.
