Nosellari trench route
<p>Themed route, witness to the First World War (1914-1918), which wrote dramatic pages of history on these heights from May 1915 onwards. Between trenches and deep shelters carved into the rock, the route retraces what was the first Austro-Hungarian front line on the Alpe Cimbra, overlooking the Kingdom of Italy, that is, the Astico valley below.</p>
<p>It is an easy route that combines historical interest with interest in nature and landscape. Its peculiarity is that it takes us to unusual places such as the 'stoi', deep shelters carved into the rock, then into an underground tunnel leading to a panoramic trench carved out of rock, and finally to the Lunt crevice, a deep and evocative fissure cutting the steep slope descending into the Astico valley below. It is suitable for families with children (+ 6 years).</p>
