Navoi – Pinè – Oltra – Madonna Del Sass – Osne

The hike is a physically quite demanding loop around Piné, a locality situated in the southeastern part of the town of Transacqua.

<p>The proposed hike is a nice loop that allows you to reach the village of Mezzano through an unusual series of trails.</p> <p>The initial climb may not be suitable for unfit people and very young children, however, once the first difficulties are overcome and the highest point reached, the trip will turn into a very beautiful and comfortable forest walk and allows you to walk in an uncontaminated area rich in natural attractions.</p> <p>After the initial climb, the route then passes near the Val di Castel biotope in the village of Oltra, while the ascent towards the town of Transacqua features a main stretch entirely in the woods with the remarkable presence of the Sass o dei Piai shrine.</p> <p>Noteworthy in the Osne locality, though in a state of decay, are the historic Colombaia tower dating back to 1600 and three other longtime settlements currently abandoned.</p>
