Walk from the historic center of Nomi to the castle
<p>The walk allows you to appreciate the historic center of Nomi, where it is still possible to observe <strong>houses with frescoes</strong> and fine portals.</p> <p><strong>Rural houses, vineyards, and cultivated fields</strong> bear witness to the ancient agricultural vocation of this Trentino village, which develops around the <strong>Palazzo Vecchio</strong> complex, a 15th-century building with characteristic dry stone walls.</p> <p>The route leads to the <strong>Castle of<a href="http://www.visitrovereto.it/scopri/territorio/vallagarina-tra-vini-e-castelli/nomi-in-bici-sulla-destra-adige/"> Nomi</a></strong>, which alternately belonged to the Castelbarco family, until it was abandoned for a more convenient palace located downhill.</p> <p>The remains of the castle are an ancient testimony of the <strong>Battle of Calliano</strong>, which saw the troops of the Counts of Tyrol clash with those of the Serenissima.</p>
