Malga Vigo ascent No. 717

<p>Ascent through the evocative woods of Val Meledrio, along the Via dell’Imperatore, the ancient road that connected Val di Sole to Madonna di Campiglio. </p>

<p>You ascend along the forest road of Val Meledrio to reach Passo Campo Carlo Magno. The valley you cross is truly unique in its biodiversity and variety of landscapes: you move from the valley floor at 760 m above sea level up to the alpine pastures located at 1800 m above sea level. </p> <p>The itinerary is very pleasant, and there are countless opportunities to appreciate the natural beauty of the Adamello Brenta Nature Park. The most evocative section of the entire route will be discovered after passing a small rock tunnel: you will reach Pont del Pison and under your feet the Meledrio stream forms the Pison waterfall, which definitely deserves a visit (by walking down a small path on the right, passing over the wooden bridge).<br/>Once you reach Malga Vigo Baita Ciocomiti, you can enjoy a meal or an aperitif, relaxing well deserved.<br/>The descent back takes place along the same route.</p>
