Loop above Besenello for Val dei Vignai
<p>Loop hike that climbs above Besenello through the Val dei Vignai, with panoramic views of Rovereto and the southern Vallagarina, following SAT trails, passing through the Masetti and Scanuppia areas.</p>
<p>Wide loop starting from the industrial area north of Besenello, beginning the ascent on trail E454, connecting Posta Vecchia di Besenello and the Emperor's Trail. A not very difficult walk but certainly quite challenging in the first uphill section requiring good concentration as it is partially exposed. The slopes of the final paved part, if taken downhill, may seem easier but require special attention especially if the ground is wet or damp.</p> <p>The effort of the climb is rewarded by views of the southern Vallagarina, and the peace and beauty of the section in the shade of the coppice forest above. A visit to Masetti, the Anzelini Chapel, and the Holy Trinity Church, located at the top of the trail before starting the descent, is also recommended.</p>
