Livio Brentari Alpine Via Ferrata, Brenta Dolomites
Alpine via ferrata, highly panoramic and at times very exposed, connecting Rifugio Agostini to Rifugio Tosa Pedrotti along ledges and small glaciers in front of Cima Tosa.

Alpine via ferrata, panoramic and exposed near Cima Tosa. The via ferrata, inaugurated in 1950, connects Rifugi Pedrotti and Agostini along a suggestive ledge, at times very narrow and exposed, below Cima Garbari, then descends with ladders, steps and metal cables along a vertical wall about a hundred meters high.

The route itself is not particularly difficult but requires a good preparation and experience in equipped paths and via ferratas. The possible presence of snow and ice at Vedretta d'Ambiez and the former Vedretta della Tosa may require the use of crampons and ice axe, making the itinerary more demanding.

The emotions given by the great panoramas will impress, ranging from Cima d'Ambiez to the towers of Tosa, Campanile Steck, Punta dell'Ideale, up to Cima Tosa, Cima Margherita, Brenta Bassa, and Campanil Alto... Discover them all!

The ferrata takes between 3 and 4 hours to complete, but when calculating the total time, you must also consider the approach and return times (another 6-8 hours).
