The route around Lake Terlago is just over 3 km long, mainly flat, and also accessible to less experienced hikers.

The lake itself was once formed by three smaller lakes, which gave the nearby village its name (Trilacum), while now it is formed by two bodies of water which, in the warmest months of the year are almost or completely separated from one another. The northern lake is the largest of the two and has bars, restaurants, beaches as well as offerIng wakeboarding opportunities. The perfect location for a day of fun and relaxation! The southern lake is more natural in character. Fishing in an ecosystem with many different species is possible in both lakes.

    Author’s recommendation

On the second part of the trail, at certain times of the year, you can sometimes spot the herons who build their nests in the trees above the lake.
