<p>The route takes us to the Dossone di Cembra where some of the most beautiful and precious peat bogs of Trentino are located: ancient glacial origin lakes where, by a natural process, thick layers of peat have accumulated. In the peat bog there is a unique vegetation, formed by carpets of very particular mosses and by very rare small marsh plants. The Lac del Vedes in Grumes is surely one of the most beautiful and best preserved peat bogs in Trentino. Here, a visitor route with wooden boardwalks and educational panels explains the rarities present and how a peat bog is formed.</p>
