Hiking to Rifugio Città di Trento al Mandron
<p>Beautiful high mountain hiking route to the famous Mandrone hut in the Adamello Brenta park</p>
<p>At the foot of the vast Adamello glacier, the Rifugio Città di Trento lies on a granite shelf at the head of the large Val Genova. Access to the hut is mainly via trail 212 "V. Marchetti" which, starting from Rifugio Bedole, rises along a panoramic path along the southern slope of Cima Presena. Reaching the hut, a spectacular panoramic spot overlooking the Tre Lobbie and the Adamello Glacier, requires about a two-hour walk. It is a starting point for high altitude crossings and alpine climbs in the Adamello Group. The hut is also frequented by many enthusiasts of war relics because the area was known as an active war theatre during the First World War. </p>
