Heather Trail above Lago Smeraldo in Fondo
<p>This walk is located just above Lago Smeraldo in Fondo. The Heather Trail forms a loop and crosses a beautiful forest rich in heather and ferns. It impresses with many panoramic views over Lago Smeraldo and the Brenta Dolomites. It is an easy and comfortable route, also nice to do in autumn and spring.</p>
<p>In spring, this walk is especially appreciated for the forest floor covered with large purple cushions of blooming heather. In summer, during July and August, it is also possible to visit the botanical garden (managed by SAT) located at the start of the walk.</p>
