Gustavo and Natale Vidi Via Ferrata, Brenta Dolomites

Panoramic via ferrata on the high ledges of Pietra Grande, at times exposed but not too demanding, in an area of high geological and naturalistic interest.

Easy via ferrata that can also be suitable for families, often recommended as a first approach to via ferratas. It runs the beautiful ledges at the base of the west face of Pietra Grande (2937 m) tracing an interesting itinerary on the ledge that is not overly frequented, with some exposed sections but overall simple.

The via ferrata can be done in both directions, but it is recommended to start from Passo del Grostè towards Rifugio Graffer since the ascent elevation gain is lower.

Built in 1969 by the brothers Natale and Raffaele, both Alpine Guides, and dedicated to their father, Guide Gustavo Vidi; after Natale's death the path was also dedicated to him.
